"Street view" es una animación original realizada desde unos murales, usando la técnica de Stop-motion: la escena está continuamente reeditada y fotografiada a intervalos regulares, y las fotos se ponen juntas en secuencia.
Los murales están pintados y borrados, pintó una y otra cubierta, y el proceso continúa en varias ocasiones, así como el seguimiento de las diferentes fases de la obra vive sólo en las imágenes digitales.
El arte por si mismo, al final de la obra, presenta una doble naturaleza; real y virtual. La dimensión real es la pintada, ya que la última escena ( el último fotograma del video) permanece en la pared y es visible para todos.
La dimensión virtual es la presentada por el video en la web, que nos permite ver todas las fases, también las que no son visibles por estar cubiertas por capas de color; Manteniendo de esta forma la memoria.
El objetivo es subrayar el carácter efímero de las obras de arte callejeras, su vida muy corta, cubierta por otras obras o en ruinas, por el clima, y la relevancia que hoy en tu día tienen las huellas virtuales de fotos y videos que son más importantes que el arte por si mismo, porque son más fácil de conservar y ver.
Como en las anteriores obras de PAO (los pingüinos o los delfines pintados en el mobiliario urbano), un elemento básico es la forma de la superficie: la forma de la idea, y al mismo tiempo se adapta a ella.
La pared y los ladrillos se transforman en una superficie de píxeles, obteniendo un resultado original: un escenario de 8-bits se modifica constantemente el fondo de los pingüinos (un personaje muy conocido por PAO).
El video ha sido realizado durante el evento "Lecco Street View", comisariado por Chiara Caneli (del 6 al 11 de Octubre del 2011 en Lecco) y postproducido en Paopao estudio, de Milán.
"Street View" is an original animation realized from a murals, using the Stop-Motion technique: the scene is continually ri-edited and photographed at regular intervals, and the photos are put together in sequence.
The murals are painted and erased, painted again and covered, and the process continues several times, so as the trace of the different phases of the work lives only in the digital images,
The artwork itself, at the end of the work, presents a double nature: real and virtual. The real dimension is the painted one, because the last scene (the last frame of the video) remains on the wall and is visible to everyone. The virtual dimension is the one presented by the video on the web, that let us see all the phases, also the ones not visible because covered by color coats, keeping in this way the memory.
The aim is to underline the ephemeral nature or the street artworks, their really short life, coveed by other works or ruined by the weather, and the relevance that nowadays have the virtual traces, photos and videos that are more important than the artwork itself, because easier to preserve and see.
As in the previous artwork by PAO (the penguins or the dolphins painted on the urban furniture), a basic element is the shape of the surface: the shape gives the idea and at the same tame ir adapted to it.
The wall and its bricks are transformed in a pixel surface, obtaining an original result: an 8-bit scenery constantly modifying is the background of the penguin (a very known character by PAO) adventures.
The video has been realized during the event "Lecco Street View" curated by Chiara Canali (October 6th, 11th, 2011, Lecco) and postproduction in Paopao Studio, Milan.

PAO se inicio en el año 2000, realiza arte urbano en Milán, en el 2005 fundó el estudio Paopao (de arte, diseño y creatividad). En el 2007 participa en la exposición "Street Art Sweet Art", en PAC de Milán, con importantes artistas callejeros Italianos, y en el mismo año comenzó a trabajar también sobre lienzo. Hoy en día trabaja con Galleria Prospettive d´Arte en Milán, donde en 2010 presentó 40 obras de arte (acrílico sobre lienzo, escultura e instalación) en su primera exposición individual "Mondotondo".
PAO began in 2000 to realize Street artworks in Milan, in 2005 founded the Paopao studio (art, design and creativity). In 2007 takes part in the "Street Art Sweet Art" exhibition at PAC, Milan with inportant Italian street artists, and in the same year began to work also on canvas. Today works with Galleria Prospettive d´Arte, Milan, where in 2010 presented 40 artworks (acrylic on canvas, sculpture and installations) in his first solo-exhibition "Mondotondo".
